Students' version of Aakash will be available for Rs 2,500 and will be delivered in seven days. The commercial version, UbiSlate 7 is priced at Rs 2,999. The payment mode for both the tablets is cash on delivery.
The commercial version of Aakash tablet will be powered by Android 2.3 and will have a resistive touchscreen, Cortex A8-700 MHz processor and graphics accelerator HD video processor, 256 MB of RAM and 2 GB of internal memory.
Other specifications are a one standard USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, a 7 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, resistive touchscreen, GPRS and WiFi support.
"The improved version of Aakash tablet will be available in retail outlets by January end," a spokesperson of DataWind told The Mobile Indian.
The tablet was to be made available in retail stores by the end of November. "The delay in the availability of the tablet has been due to upgradation in the tablet and some unforeseen delay in manufacturing," the spokesperson said.
To book and prebook student and commercial versions respectively of Aakash tablet, users have to visit DataWind's website and fill up the required form. In case of booking they will get a booking ID and a message which will state, "You will shortly receive an email confirmation from our support team with further details."
In case of pre booking users will get a confirmation message which will state, "The commercial version of the Akash UbiSlate 7 would be launched in early weeks of December. After the commercial launch we would get in touch with you to deliver your device as soon possible."
As a matter of fact, the confirmation message a reader will see is factually incorrect as The mobile Indian had reported earlier the Aakash tablet will be available only by January end.
Datawind has however not cleared how it is going to establish the identity of students who will book the cheapest version of Aakash tablet. When The Mobile Indian contacted spokesperson of Datwind he said, "Anyone can book the student version of Aakash tablet."
This defeats the purpose of providing students an affordable tablet as now anyone can place an order to get the tablet. Interestingly, now it has been revealed that the government has procured only 10,000 Aakash tablets for distribution in schools and colleges of the initial 1 lakh proposed.
It looks like the company was in a hurry to start the online booking process and has not done not proper homework before staring it.

If you have been trying to upgrade your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to

I have used the same technique to update my iPad 1 and iPad 2 with iOS 5 and the software installed without any problems.
First you need to download the iOS 5 IPSW files from the Apple servers. Click the link that corresponds to your iOS5 device - iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 GSM, iPhone 4 CDMA, iPad (original), iPad 2 WiFi, iPad 2 GSM, iPad 2 CDMA. Remember that IPSW files are 700+ MB in size so you should probably use a download manager that can resume broken downloads.
Once the firmware file has downloaded, close the iTunes software and also disconnect your iPhone / iPad from the computer. Next copy and paste the IPSW file to the following location:

iPhone 5 launch expected in 3rd Quarter
New rumors about release date of Apple's iPhone 5 are in the market.According to new rumors Apple’s next-generation iPhone will launch in the third quarter and the company plans to ship 25 million units by year’s end, according to a report.
Citing “people familiar with the situation,” The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has placed orders with suppliers in Taiwan for some of the next iPhone’s key components. The new version of the iPhone will include an 8-megapixel camera (compared to the current 5-megapixel) and will be thinner and lighter than the iPhone 4.
The article also cites a source who says the new iPhone will use Qualcomm’s baseband chips. The current iPhone uses memory chips from Samsung and baseband chips from Infineon Technologies, according to a report from iSuppli Corp.
Apple is telling suppliers to produce enough of the phones to meet a goal of 25 million units by year’s end. By comparison, Apple said it sold 18.65 million iPhones in the fiscal second quarter, which ended March 26. The initial units will ship to assembler Hon Hai in August.
This new information jibes with other information that has leaked out about the release. Last month, Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty sent a note to clients stating that the next iPhone would begin production in August. Rumors about the new iPhone also surfaced last month, including one from Boy Genius Report that cited a source saying the iPhone 5 would sport a “radical new case design.” Bloomberg also reported that the model would have an 8-megapixel camera and an AS5 processor and would be available in September.

Apple has just released the iOS 5 beta 2 version.This is the next version of its mobile operating system for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.This version is available for developers for now and If you're paying $99/year for a developer's account than you can download it right now.This new version of OS includes a bunch of bug fixes and wireless syncing, but no word yet on everything that Apple has packed into this release.

Sony troubles are continuing with this latest hack.This time sonypictures.com is hacked by Lulz Securities.Lulz Securities claims to stole the personal information of over 1,000,000 users from sonypictures.com
Lulz claims the hack was performed with a simple SQL injection - just like before sony website was hacked.Hacked data was posted online which contains email and password of more than 50,000 Sony Picture users.In addition to user information, the group has blurted out over 20,000 Sony music coupons, and the admin database (including email addresses and passwords) for BMG Belgium employees.
While Sony is working on Restoration of Playstation network,this hack is surley going to increase the touble of Sony's IT department.Faith of users in Sony is compromised again.Sony may loose a large number of its online customers after this series of Hacks.

Google has silently updated it AdSense policy.AdSense is a revenue sharing program that helps Blogger and website owners to make money online.
This change is going to affect a large number of blogs and websites.With new policy update now you can't put AdSense ads in iFrame.
The updated AdSense policy says
"AdSense code may not be altered, nor may the standard behavior, targeting or delivery of ads be manipulated in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google. This includes but is not limited to the following: clicking Google ads may not result in a new browser window being launched, nor may Google ads be placed in an IFRAME."
You can find this update in Google adsense policy page under Ad Behavior heading.
Google has always discouraged the use of iFrame for ads serving stating that it cause trouble in displaying targeted ads or PSAs.
If you are using AdSense ads in iFrame than you need to modify your site code and use new embed code within your content.Otherwise get ready for horror email from Google which will say "Your AdSense account is disabled".

Batting first CSK made 205 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.Murali Vijay scored 95 runs in just 52 balls.He hitted 6 sixes and 4 boundaries.Michael Hussey contributed with 63 runs.He faced 43 balls and hit 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. Sreenath Aravind and Chris Gayle took 2 wickets each while Syed Mohammad took one wicket.
