How to Uninstall Firefox 4 Add-ons,Plugins and Themes
Mozila provides add-ons to enhance the functionality of the firefox.There are more than 5000 add-ons to enhance the functionality of Mozila firefox.There are different add-ons like firebug, seo doctor etc. which improve the functionality of browser.But sometime addons annoys and slower down the process of page opening.Sometimes you just want to try the functionality of a particular addon and than you want to remove it.So ....question is how to Uninstall or disable firefox addon, plugins and themes.Simply follow the steps listed below and you can easily uninstall or disable addons , plugins and themes of firefox 4.
Steps to Uninstall Firefox 4 Add-ons and Themes
1. At the top of the Firefox 4 window, click on the Tools menu and select Add-ons. The Add-ons window will appear.Alternatively you can use " ctrl + shift + A " to open the addons window in firefox
2. In the Add-ons window, select the Extensions panel or Plugins panel.As shown in the above image.
3. Select the add-on you wish to disable.In above image I have selected to uninstall "adblock plus addon".To uninstall you have to click on Remove button (red circled in image).
4. Click the Remove button.
5. Click Restart Firefox to finish uninstalling the add-on.
You can choose to disable the addon by clicking Disable button.Disabling an add-on will turn it off without uninstalling it.Similarly you can uninstall themes by selecting Appearance tab and following the above steps.

1. In Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and select Add-ons. The Add-ons window will appear.
2. In the Add-ons window, select the Plugins.
3. Select the Plugin you wish to disable. As shown in above picture disable button is circled with red color.
4. Click the disable button.
5. If prompted, click Restart Firefox to finish uninstalling the add-on.
