YouTube has announced to show live The UK's forthcoming royal wedding.Only 9 days are left in Royal wedding and everybody in world, especially in UK, wants to be a part of royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.Last royal wedding was in 1986,nearly 30 years back,when Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson married at Westminster Abbey.
Ah, how the world has changed since the UK’s last big royal wedding all those years ago in 1981.
YouTube considered it to be the wedding of the year. This will be the first ever royal wedding streamed live by the Google-owned video sharing website, and it’ll be available on The Royal Channel.
The Royal Channel was setup on YouTube in 2001. Currently The Royal Channel has a total upload view count of more than 10 million, and more than 38,000 subscribers.
The channel’s home page is currently showing a video inviting one and all to forego the traditional broadcast media and instead join the masses on YouTube for Kate and William’s big day.Live streaming of Royal Wedding on YouTube will start at 10am UK time and promises to stream “every moment as it happens,” although let’s face it, it’s likely that there’ll also be a lot of moments where nothing is happening.
YouTube live streaming will include the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, the procession to Buckingham Palace, and the newlyweds' appearance on the palace balcony for an expected first public kiss. William's press office will also provide a live blog providing commentary and historical information as well as additional footage,the royal household will be tweeting during the day, and also posting photos on Flickr.
